  • 2 cups Cooked shredded chicken Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Let sit at room temperature or microwave briefly
  • 0.75 cups Buffalo sauce Adjust based on desired spice level
  • 0.5 cups Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing Either can be used depending on preference
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar or cheddar blend) Reserve some for topping
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions (optional) For topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grab a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing until well mixed.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken and most of the shredded cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture into the baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly. For a browned top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely.

Notes

You can prepare this dip a day ahead and refrigerate. Reheat before serving. Store leftovers in a sealed container and reheat when needed. Keep warm in a slow cooker if serving in a large gathering.
