Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1-2 cups Fresh blackberries Frozen blackberries can also be used.
  • 3/4-1 cup Fresh lemon juice Adjust according to your taste preference.
  • 1/3-2/3 cup Sugar or honey To taste.
  • 4-5 cups Water Use still or sparkling water later.
  • lots cups Ice To chill the drink.
Optional Garnishes
  • Lemon slices For garnish.
  • Extra berries For garnish.
  • Mint For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blend fresh blackberries with 1/2 cup of water until smooth.
  2. Strain the puree through a fine strainer into a pitcher, using a spoon to press it through.
  3. Add fresh lemon juice and your sweetener, stirring well until dissolved.
  4. Add the remaining water and adjust the tanginess by adding more lemon or sweetness by adding more sugar.
  5. Chill or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Taste after it sits for 10 minutes and adjust flavors as needed.

Notes

Strain well for a cleaner flavor and keep the drink cold and covered in the fridge. Best consumed within 2-3 days.
