  • 1 batch Brownies or chocolate cake Cut into bite-size cubes.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream For soaking the brownies.
  • 1 tablespoon Milk To mix with Baileys for soaking.
Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 ounces Cream cheese Full-fat and softened.
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar To sweeten the cheesecake.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt To enhance flavors.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1-2 cups Whipped cream For folding into cheesecake.
Pudding Layer
  • 1 package Chocolate pudding Instant pudding mix.
Toppings
  • 1 cup Mini chocolate chips For decoration.
  • 1 cup Shaved chocolate For decoration.
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder For finishing layers.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut brownies into neat cubes.
  2. Stir together 2 to 3 tablespoons Baileys with 1 tablespoon milk and lightly drizzle over the brownies.
Make Cheesecake Layer
  1. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and Baileys until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Fold in whipped cream gently to lighten the mixture to a cloud-like texture.
Prepare Pudding
  1. Prepare chocolate pudding according to package directions and let it sit for a minute to thicken.
Layering the Trifle
  1. In a clear trifle dish or big glass bowl, add a layer of brownies, then cheesecake mixture, then pudding. Repeat.
  2. End with whipped cream or a final ribbon of cheesecake on top.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips, shaved chocolate, or cocoa over the top. Drizzle chocolate syrup if desired.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving, overnight is even better.
