  • 8-12 slices bacon Wrap chicken with 2-3 slices per breast.

  • optional garlic powder Sprinkle over chicken for added flavor.
  • optional smoked paprika Add for a smoky flavor.
  • optional barbecue sauce Can be applied before wrapping chicken.
  • optional slice cheddar cheese Can be tucked inside chicken before wrapping.
  • optional cayenne pepper or hot honey Add for heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry.
  2. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder and smoked paprika over the chicken.
  3. Wrap each chicken breast with 2-3 slices of bacon, tucking the ends underneath.
Cooking
  1. Place wrapped chicken in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't squished together.
  2. Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 15 to 18 minutes.
  3. Flip the chicken halfway through cooking to ensure even crispiness.
  4. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Serving
  1. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

Leftover chicken can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 4-5 minutes at 350°F to restore crispiness.
