Preparation
- Slice your fruit. Thin slices look pretty and soak up flavor faster.
- Add apple slices, pear slices, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks to a large pitcher.
- Pour in the white wine, then the apple cider.
- Add maple syrup or honey. Start small, stir, and taste. You can always add more.
- If using, pour in the brandy and stir again.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better if you have time.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria, then top with ginger ale or sparkling water for fizz.
Notes
If too sweet, add more citrus or fresh orange juice. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute white wine with white grape juice and top with sparkling water. Make ahead for better flavor, and serve with snacks like cheese or nuts for a cozy experience.
