  • 10 pieces Lumpia wrappers (fresh or thawed) Thin and delicate wrappers are ideal for making crispy chips.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Neutral oil (avocado, canola, vegetable) Oil spray is preferred, or you can drizzle a tiny bit of liquid oil.
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning the chips.
Optional seasonings
  • to taste Garlic powder
  • to taste Onion powder
  • to taste Paprika
  • to taste Chili powder
  • to taste Black pepper
  • a pinch Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F if yours preheats.
  2. Separate the wrappers and cover the stack with a slightly damp paper towel.
  3. Cut the wrappers into chip shapes, making squares or triangles.
  4. Lightly oil the cut pieces, spritzing with oil spray or drizzling a tiny bit if using liquid oil.
  5. Season the chips with salt and your choice of optional seasonings.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the chips in a single layer for 3-6 minutes, shaking once halfway.
  2. Check at minute 3 to avoid overcooking; they can darken quickly.
Serving
  1. Let the chips cool for 2 minutes for extra crunch before serving.

Notes

For leftover chips, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. To re-crisp, air fry at 325°F for 1-2 minutes.
