Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground turkey Use ground turkey for the classic holiday flavor.
  • 1 pkg Stuffing mix You can use store-bought stuffing mix for convenience.
  • 1 cup Dried cranberries Dried cranberries work best for texture.
  • 1 large Egg Helps bind the mixture together.
  • 1/2 cup Broth Use warm broth to adjust the consistency of the mixture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Crumble the stuffing mix with your hands until slightly smaller pieces form.
  2. Gradually add warm broth to the stuffing mix and mix until it feels like a thick, scoopable dough.
  3. Let the mixture sit for a couple of minutes to allow the stuffing to absorb the liquid.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, cranberry, egg, and the prepared stuffing mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Using a small cookie scoop, portion the mixture into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

Notes

These can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. They can also be frozen uncooked or cooked for later use. For serving, pair with warm turkey gravy or cranberry sauce for dipping.
