  • 1 cup Peanut butter Creamy is easiest, but crunchy is fun too.
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar Optional, for a sweeter flavor.
  • a pinch Salt Optional, enhances peanut flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line your pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt about two thirds of your chocolate in the microwave in 20 to 30 second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment and spread it into an even layer about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Warm the peanut butter and butter together for about 20 seconds, then stir until glossy. Add powdered sugar and salt if you like it sweeter.
  5. Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate and spread gently.
  6. Melt the remaining chocolate and drizzle it over the top, swirling with a toothpick if desired.
Setting
  1. Chill for 45 to 60 minutes or until firm.
  2. Lift the bark out using the parchment paper and break into pieces.

Notes

You can personalize this bark by adding crushed pretzels, nuts, or a drizzle of white chocolate on top. Avoid overheating chocolate to keep it smooth and shiny.
